In an effort to further improve our services to our existing and potential customers resident abroad, SG-SSB Limited has set up a NON-RESIDENTS Department. The Department will cater for all your financial service requirements in terms of personal advisory services and asset management. This is in support of the Bank’s effort to meet the needs of our customers outside Ghana.
Who is a Non-Resident Customer?
A Ghanaian citizen or foreign citizen who have ties or business entities in Ghana and stays abroad for employment, runs a business or vocation and indicates the intention for an uncertain duration of stay abroad is a Non-Resident (NRE). Customers who are abroad on business visits, for medical treatment, or study purposes without indication of an indefinite period of stay, will not be considered as NREs. Students who are studying abroad for an uncertain period, which is likely to exceed 180 days in the preceding financial year, will be treated as Non-Residents.
For existing NRE customers
Services offered by the Non-Resident department will be complimentary to NRE customer's banking activities with their respective Branches. The Department will help maintain and develop effective ways of communicating with our treasured customers both far and near.
