FRAUDULENT SMS (TEXT MESSAGE ON MOBILE PHONES)
SMS SCAM ALERT!

SG-SSB Limited wishes to inform its valued customers and the general public that there is a new type of fraud going on in certain countries.

Swindlers are sending SMS to mobile phones, to persons chosen on a random basis to inform them that they have won money and the money is to be withdrawn directly from the counters in several branches of different banks mentioned in the SMS.

Before being able to obtain the monies the purported winner must dial a surtaxed number.

This is to inform our numerous customers and the general public that any such SMS received by them and purportedly coming from SG-SSB Limited should not be acted upon and considered fraudulent as it did NOT emanate from the Bank.

Please be guided accordingly.
